Under the auspices of the local authority and the supervision of the Education Office in Taiz
In partnership with the Jannat Development Foundation, the Darwat Al-Nour Foundation for Social Development organized a workshop entitled "The Absence of the Textbook" chapter two, 2018, "Reasons and Solutions". The workshop, which was held at the Professional Institute, included two working papers and three main axes
The workshop began with an opening speech by Dr. Abdul Qawi Al-Makhlafi, Governor's Deputy, in which he said that Taiz is a cultural and scientific capital and will preserve this path. This activity is not the embodiment of this aspect.
Adding that such workshops, which are interested in education in light of the current situation in the city is a positive sign for the advancement of the city
In the first working paper contained in the workshop, Mr. Abdel-Wassa El-Shadadi, Director of the Office of Education, stressed that the problem of the lack of textbook is not printing it final
Explaining that some schools were suffering last year and the first semester of the lack of titles by 60%, but in this chapter, which we are studying today discussing the solutions that solve this problem is not to print the book for Chapter II final
Stressing that the main reason for this is that the state in general and the Ministry of Education in particular were based on a contract signed between it and an international organization to print the curriculum and why it was delayed printing
The workshop, which was attended by more than (50) participants from the principals of schools and educational centers and a number of media a number of recommendations were the most prominent:
1- Forming a committee to inventory the stores of closed schools because of the war. The committee consists of: (Education Bureau - Community Committee)
2 - Launch of the campaign to restore books from homes through (mosque preachers - media - youth initiatives)
3 - Print and photocopy of the book that falters available by the Office of Education in partnership with civil society organizations
